Cruise Paxos Antipaxos Blue Caves

As no Greek holiday is complete without a sea cruise, we offer you the opportunity to visit three wonderful places. The island of Paxos and Antipaxos , which are situated, close to the southern coast of Corfu , and also the famous blue Caves of Paxos.

Departing from the harbour of Corfu , we have a unique view of the old town, among the two Venetian fortresses. Heading towards the south of Corfu we see the Kanoni peninsula and the palace of Mon Repos where Prince Phillip was born. We also see the tourist resorts Perama, Benitses, the village of Kavos and the cape of Asprokavos which is the southern point of Corfu island. As we approach the channel between Corfu and Paxos we see in front of us the green island of Paxos covered with olives and cyprus trees.

Legend has it that Paxos was formed when Poseidon severed the tip of Corfu with one mighty blow of his trident and dragged it south to create an idyllicretreat for his love, Amphitrite! The Legend goes on ,with Poseidon´s marble Palace which was situated in one of the blue cave of the island named Ipapanti . During our passage, on the left hand side, we see the beautiful port of Laka . We continue sailing south along the west coast of Paxos island, enjoying the impressive rocky coast line and the unique white sandy beaches.
Then the boat enters the breath taking sea caves, the clear blue waters will leave you speechless. We depart from the caves and soon we arrive at the small but perfectly formed island of Antipaxos , whose sandy blue water coves have been compared to the Caribbean´s. Here you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal waters of the " Paradise beach". Our excursion returns once again to Paxos. It's up-market reputation continues today as millionaire yachts sit at anchor alongside local fishing boats. After entering the narrow channel which leads us to the picturesque port of Gaios village, we see a breathtaking view of the two islands Panagia and Agios Nikolaos . We moor close to the center of Gaios village where you can easily walk through the wonderful narrow streets and enjoy your lunch at one of the traditional tavernas. Cruise Parga Paxos

As we return to Corfu we travel close to the Mainland enjoying another wonderful view of the impressive rocky coast and the sandy beaches . Cruise Albanian adventure

For the more adventurous who wish to enjoy a different experience the following one day cruise to the fascinating country of Albania is on offer. After our departure from the port of Corfu we travel along the Albanian shores and we will approach the port of Ag . Saranda city.

Once our passports are checked the local tourist guide will introduce you to the ancient city of Ag . Saranda. An additional guided tour is available for those who wish to enjoy a 20km tour by coach of the south coast with it's virgin shores and scattered islands. Moving on from the mainland we pass small picturesque villages , endless fertile plains leading to a great lake.

The highlight of your day will be the excursion to Butrint - designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 1997. Over the centuries, the ancient town had disappeared under layers of silt and vegetation - but archaeologists have uncovered one of the best remains of a working town in the Mediterranean .

At the edge of the lake where the ancient city of Vouthrota is situated, with it's well maintained archaeological monuments and ancient theatre, the visitor is taken 2500 years back in time to the 3rd century A.D. The ancient gymnasium , the Roman ablutions , the ancient temple with the priceless mosaic floor and the enormous stone walls will take you back to a time not known to man. Upon reaching the top of the hill lies the castle of Ali Passa , an oddment of the Ottoman Empire, from this position we have a panoramic view of the Ancient City , the lake and the vast plains, a breathtaking sight. Upon our return to the city of Ag . Saranda lunch is served. The afternoon allows for a tour of the town, until our departure from the land caught up in time.

Cruise Plataria Sivota Blue Lagoon

Enjoy yourself with us by a day trip to the Greek mainland of Epirus (opposite Kavos) at the Islands of Nea Sivota and not only! Departing from Corfu´s harbour, we have a unique view of the old town, the Royal palace, and the two Venetian fortresses . Heading towards the south of Corfu we see the Kanoni peninsula and the palace of Mon Repos where Prince Phillip from England was born.

Then we sail southeast and we pass parallel from Igoumenitsa, which is the capital city of Thesprotia and the third International port in size in Greece . Soon we will arrive at the traditional marina village of Plataria that attracts dozens of yachts during the summer season. There you will have plenty of time to stroll along the village, to visit the souvenirs shops, or to have a drink in one of the traditional cafeterias under the shadow of Plane trees.

According to our schedule we will leave from this beautiful place and soon we will arrive at the picturesque bay of "Piscine" where the famous film "Blue Lagoon" was filmed. Old historians say that there in the Middle Ages Arabian pirates´ ships used to moor close to this bay. We will stay there on anchor for 1 hour and you will have the opportunity to swim at the exotic blue waters of the Blue Lagoon or to try your luck at champagne diving.

We leave behind us this exotic place and in a while the ship will enter the breathtaking cave of Sivota . There during the Second World War the Greek Sub Marine was hiding underneath the lighthouse, mostly known "Papanikolis" . As next destination we will visit the traditional village port of Sivota . Also there you will have plenty of time to stroll along the village, to explore the souvenirs shops and to enjoy your lunch in one of the traditional taverns of it. (Lunch is included).

On the way back we will sail around the historical small islands of Sivota, where they´re in the summer of 432 B.C. the greatest Naval Battle between the "Corcyrians Fleet" and the "Corinthian Fleet" took place so the Second Peloponnesian War began that lasted for 30 years. Still, today many of the sunken vessels of that period relies remain at the bottom of the sea. During your trip you can enjoy the sun and have refreshments, which may be purchased from the board bar. Cruise Kefalonia

Leaving behind the port of Corfu we have a panoramic view of the old town and the two Venetian fortresses.

Continuing our journey parallel to the island heading towards the south, we see the Mouse Island and the Palace of Mon Repos, where Prince Phillip was born. We can see the resorts of Perama and Benitses and the southest part of the island, the villages of Kavos and the Cape Asprokavos the southest tip of the island. Our journey continues towards the island of Kefalonia and we have the opportunity to see four (4) of the most beautiful Ionian Islands .

On our right hand side we will see the green island of Paxos with its waterside villages and the wonderful deep blue waters of the Antipaxos beaches. Continuing a little further south and to our left we will see the western side of the island of Lefkada with its cliff-lined rocky coast and its deserted beaches.

Approaching our destination we enter the narrow natural channel which is formed from Ithaka the island of Odysseus and Kefalonia . Upon our arrival at the port of Sami we will get onto tourist buses which will take us to visit the Drogarati cave with its rare beauty, stalactites and stalagmites. Next we stop at the blue lagoon in the Cave of Melissani . Anyone who wishes to do so, will be able to visit this cave by a rowing boat (entrance to the caves is not included ). On the way back we will have the chance to see the lake of Karavomilos . Then we return to the harbor in Sami, where the film "Captain Corellis Mandolin" was recently filmed.

There we will have the time to walk in the narrow streets of the village with its little tourist shops, cafes and waterside taverns where we can taste the Kefalonian cuisine (fresh fish). In the late afternoon we will enjoy the exquisite view of the impressive rocks and the sandy beaches which are visible from the coastline of Mainland Epirus . Cruise Ithaka Lefkada

Leaving behind the port of Corfu we have a panoramic view of the old town and the two Venetian fortresses.

Continuing our journey parallel to the island heading towards the south, we see the Mouse Island and the Palace of Mon Repo, where Prince Phillip from England was born. We can see the resorts of Perama and Benitses and the southest part of the island, the villages of Kavos and the cape of Asprokavos , the southest tip of the island.

In front of us on the right hand side we see the green island of Paxos with its water side villages and the wonderful deep blue waters of the Antipaxos beaches . Continuing further south we will see Lefkada's west coast site. We sail parallel towards its picturesque fishing villages of Ag. Nickitas , Egremni , Porto Katsiki , beaches and the ladies cape or Doukato which is the souther tip of the island.

From the point of view of its terrain Lefkada island is a miniature of Greece . Mountains, flat lands and valleys make up a harmonious landscape.

We leave behind us this beautiful island and sail southern. We approach the northeast Coast of Ithaka island which was the birthplace and Kingdom of the famous ancient Hero Odysses. Soon we will reach the north east coast of Ithaka. We sail parallel to the fishing village of Frikes . Approaching the port Vathi , on the right hand side, its small island named Lazareto. We moor at the port of Vathi then you will have plenty of time to walk on the graphical city, enjoy your lunch in one of the traditional tavernas or visit the archaeological museum and cultural center (entrance to the museum is not included). The beauty of Ithaka can not be hidden, not even in the darkness of the night when the first lights make their appearence.

We leave behind us the port of Vathi and continue sailing north to the island of Lefkada . Soon we pass the straight passage between Lefkada island and Meganisi island. After a while we arrive close to the island of Scorpio which is the private island of Aristotelis Onasis family and it's located opposite the sea side village of Nydri . In the late afternoon we enjoy the exquisite view of the impressive rocks and the sandy beaches which are visible from the coast line of Mainland Epirus .
